Eligibility notes from these funders

• Research must be Internet-related, community-driven and able to influence positive outcomes for that community online.
• Funding is subject to the Fund’s eligibility/investment criteria and availability. Ordinary business-as-usual costs and projects with readily available alternative finance are excluded.
• Initiatives must be community-led and benefit Palmerston North; the fund prioritises several communities including Māori, Pasifika, disabled people, rainbow communities, children/young people and older people.
• Most funding is committed to long-term partners. The Foundation accepts short enquiries for a limited number of aligned smaller grants but does not fund one-off events or small local programmes.
• Tū Manawa requires a legally constituted applicant or an eligible umbrella/fund-holder arrangement. National criteria apply, with the regional trust setting its own rounds and thresholds.
